Fruit is always popular. It is good for the body as it revives the organism, gives you the necessary energy and supplies the body with vitamins and minerals. However it is important that different fruits are consumed frequently. As every season offers a great variety of fruits it is easy to combine them together and get the perfect combination of vitamins and minerals. In this article, we present you a rainbow fruit salad with honey and lime, which can be enjoyed in the summer months.
Here is a simple and fun recipe for a fruit salad that will provide your body everything it needs instantly. Make sure that the fruits you choose are ripe, fresh and if possible organic.
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 lb of pineapple, minced
  • 12 ounces blueberries
  • 6 ounces blackberries
  • 1 lb strawberries, chopped
  • 3 mandarin oranges, peeled and divided to pieces
  • 4 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 14 cup of organic honey
  • 2 tsp organic lime zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Method of preparation:
– Put all fruit in a bowl and mix it.
– Whisk together honey, lime juice and lime zest in another bowl.
– Pour the dressing over the fruit and make sure it covers all fruits.
